Holistic Approach

Building a Moral Foundation

The Association conducts comprehensive one-day workshops primarily aimed at Dhamma School Teachers. The core objective is to enhance teaching methods and equip educators with the skills necessary to guide children to become responsible members of a just and ethical society.

However, we believe that education is a collaborative effort. Therefore, in conjunction with the teacher training, we run parallel sessions for Students and Parents to ensure the message of the Dhamma is reinforced at home and in daily life.

Program Components

A synchronized one-day schedule covering three key groups.

For Teachers

Focuses on modern teaching methodologies, classroom management, and the psychological process of guiding a child towards Dhamma values.

For Students

Leadership Training sessions designed to build confidence, moral character, and the ability to lead peers in a righteous path.

For Parents

Awareness Programs on the role of parents in supporting their child's spiritual education and maintaining a Dhamma-centric home environment.

Implementation & Funding

On Request

Workshops are scheduled based on requests from Affiliated YMBAs in respective areas.

Strategic Partnership

Organized jointly with the Divisional Secretariat and the Sasanarakshaka Mandalaya of the area.

Resource Personnel

Lectures are conducted by an eminent panel of experts efficient in relevant subjects.

Fully Funded

The entire cost of the workshop is borne by the Colombo YMBA.
